WHO WE ARE
Becca and Jenn go way back, having both graduated from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. Despite not befriending one another in school, they bonded when Becca was Jenn's Casting Intern at New York Theatre Workshop in 2006. Slowly but surely, over the years their friendship solidified, morphing into the ultimate combination of hilarity, creativity, and tangential conversation. In November 2013, they decided to take their relationship to the next level by producing a show together, and The Understudy came to be in May 2014 at The Secret Theatre. After that success, they chose to join forces again, this time giving themselves a name, Between Two Boroughs, to represent their respective home bases (Astoria, Queens and Cobble Hill, Brooklyn) and the ever-so-long trek between the two. Born out of the desire to make their own work and build a like-minded community of artists, Becca and Jenn are dedicated to producing projects that both challenge and entertain audiences in addition to stretching themselves as artists.
